Firing Line Rules
It is of great importance to observe and comply with the designated firing lines on all ranges. In general, all firing must take place at the marked range firing lines. On rifle, pistol, and archery ranges firing may only occur in front of the marked lines if a range safety officer and all other shooters give permission and obey all safety rules. Typically this is done at monitored shooting events such as CMP shoots, ladies pistol training, JOAD events.
AT NO TIME, may any shooter fire from behind the firing lines on these ranges.
At trap and skeet, the event supervisors will indicate the proper firing positions.
It is essential to ensure safety of all participants by properly observing the firing lines. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action.
