West Range Daily Use Donation

Members: FREE
Non members: $2.00
Youth 17 and under: FREE

Includes the whole period for any of the open shooting hours.  A whole period means from the earliest scheduled time of the day until the latest scheduled time of the day. Scheduled events take precedence – check the schedule below.

The west range is a multi-purpose range that is used for many shooting activities at Northside:

  • Various Holiday Themed Shoots
  • Three Gun Shoots
  • Tactical Matches
  • Paper and Steel Plate target shooting (when range is open)
  • Organizational/Private Training

The range provides the following shooting configurations:

  • 4 bays @ 7 yards
  • 1 bays @ 10 yards
  • Target stands for longer distances may be used if available.

Range Access:

Any NSSA Member plus a guest can now open the West Range together during the times noted above. There MUST be two people at all times. One of those shooters MUST be and NSSA member. An RSO is no longer required.

Members MUST scan their badge at the scanner located in the right pavilion, conveniently located on the cash box where your guests MUST sign in and pay the range fee..

The West Range will not be open to members is when a scheduled event or training session is taking place.  So, before heading out to shoot on the West Range always be sure to check the club’s website to verify that the range is open.

There will also be a moveable standing target frame available that can be placed anywhere in the stones forward of the pavilion for members that have been approved to draw from a holster and have their red holster sticker displayed.  Reminder: holster work cannot be done while UNDER the pavilion.

NOTE: The steel target racks are not permitted for hanging targets of ANY kind.  Please be courteous and take care of your own club by repainting the steel targets before you leave the range and CLEAN UP YOUR BRASS!  There are brass buckets available at both pavilions.

This is a pistol caliber ONLY range.  No bottlenecked cartridges are permitted to be fired at this range.
