In an effort to provide greater opportunity for Members to support the 2nd Amendment Rally, NSSA is uniting with the Beaver County Sportsmen’s Conservation League (BCSCL) in a fundraising dinner at Monaca Turners on Saturday evening, March 4th.
Tickets are $40 each. You are NOT Obligated to attend the Rally by attending the dinner, but if there is enough participation at the fundraiser, the Northside bus will be free for anyone who wants to attend. (Attendees of the fund-raiser are guaranteed a seat on the bus if you wish to attend the Rally.)
The 12th annual Pennsylvania 2nd Amendment Rally will be held in Harrisburg on Monday, May 22nd. This year’s theme is “Make the 2nd Amendment Great Again.” The topics of focus will include Constitutional Carry, State Preemption, Reciprocity, and elimination of the PICS system. All of these are within our grasp.
For the 4th year in a row, we’re hoping to have a bus depart directly from the Northside parking lot. However, this year we will be teaming with the Beaver County Sportsmen’s Conservation League (BCSCL) and leveraging their considerable expertise. This will provide us with several benefits, including a lower cost. BCSCL is also expert at developing meaningful post-rally afternoon activities, which we can join.
All rally participants will receive a “Make the 2nd Amendment Great Again” ballcap, and the use of a red, white, or blue smock to wear at the rally to be easily identifiable as a member of our group.
Our ability to have our own NSSA bus is contingent on our participation at the fundraising dinner at Monaca Turners on Saturday evening, March 4th. Tickets are $40 each. You are NOT Obligated to attend the Rally, but if there is enough participation at the fundraiser, the Northside bus will be free for anyone who wants to attend. (Attendees of the fund-raiser are guaranteed a seat on the bus if you wish to attend the Rally.)
Participants will include State Representatives Rick Saccone and Daryl Metcalfe. Aaron Bernstein will be a guest speaker. There’s also a possibility that US Representative Mike Kelly may also attend, although that’s not yet confirmed.
Mars Rod and Gun Club has already bought a table of ten to support our Northside bus. (And club-tables are eligible to participate in a gun raffle.) Millvale will also likely be participating in sponsoring our bus.
I’m looking forward to strong participation from the members of Northside. It would be great for NSSA to have two or three tables of our own at the dinner.
Please contact volunteer@northsidesportsmen.com message if you’re interested in purchasing a $40 ticket to the fundraiser dinner, whether or not you plan to attend. (Remember, purchasing a ticket to the fundraiser dinner gets you a guaranteed seat on the bus.)
