Just for fun (no scoring). Any rifle legal for hunting in Pennsylvania may be used. The event is open to the public and participants under 18 years old participate for free.
Distance 200 Yards.
Position(s)/# Rounds Prone, 8 for score slow fire, 8 for score rapid fire, 8 for score offhand (standing).
Sighters: Up to 5, precedes slow fire prone.
Time(s) 10 minutes, slow fire, 60 seconds for rapid fire.
Rifles permitted Any PA legal big game hunting rifle.
Sights permitted Any.
General A sling may be used for support in the prone position. A shooting mat is suggested. Rapid fire will be in 2 parts of 30 seconds each, with a break to reload in between.
