2024 New Years Day Trapshoot

NSSA is proud to announce its Annual New Years Day Trap Shoot!

The kitchen will be OPEN and the best part is you don’t have to shoot in the event to come out and eat!!! (Menu Below)

Club opens at 10am; Shooting begins at 11am. Must be signed up by Noon.

Practice available: $5

Food will be available.

Program will be 100 targets:

50-16 yard targets
Break
50-22 yard targets

Targets: $28

Northside Purse $20 Divided 1st (40%), 2nd (30%), 3rd (20%), 10th (10%)

Mid 50’s $5

Lewis Class: ( $200 added ) $10 (2) classes divided 60/40%

Ties on money will be divided
50/50 Raffle
NSSA reserves the right to modify or alter the program

FOOD MENU -All members, shooting or not shooting, are welcome to come out and enjoy breakfast and lunch-

BREAKFAST 9:00-10:30
- Croissant w/sausage egg cheese. Hashbrowns. $5.00
LUNCH 11:00-???
- Chili over buttered noodles with garlic bread and coleslaw – $7.00
- Cheeseburger with fries and slaw – $7.00
- Chicken Salad Club Sandwich (lettuce and bacon) with coleslaw and fries – $7.00

NSTL Post Season Trap Shoot Oct 1

The North Suburban Trap League will conclude its season at NSSA on Oct 1st 10am – 3pm with its Post-Season Shoot. One Trap Field will remain open for Practice during the event.

Fall 2023 Trap Season begins Aug 31st

Every Fall and Spring NSSA hosts a 12-week trap league that takes place on Thursday Nights. Shooters are divided into 5 teams which compete against each other for shells, prizes, and most importantly, bragging rights at the end of the 12-weeks. Our Fall League starts Thursday, Aug 31st, with a 50 bird pre-season warm up shoot.

This shoot is a great opportunity for shooters to dust off their guns and get back out on the range. Following the warm-up shoot, shooters will be divided into the 5 even teams based on their score and known ability, and these are the teams they will shoot 50 birds each week for throughout the rest of the season.

Sign-up times are 3:30pm-8:30pm each Thursday and it costs $14 per week to shoot the league. This cost not only covers the targets each week but also the prizes and the end of the league banquet dinner that we have at the club. Everyone is welcome, including non members, so we hope to see you out there! Please be advised that during this 12-week league shooters are not required to participate in the league and can opt to shoot practice instead, however league squads will have preference over trap availability.

Skeet, Trap Cancelled June 21-22, 2023

Skeet (Weds 6/21/2023) and Trap (Thurs 6/22/2023) are CANCELED. Maintenance work on the trap field is still in progress.

Both Skeet and Trap will resume normal operation this Sunday .6/25/2023.

Good Friday Trap Shoot April 7 2023
