Update 3/9: All spots have been filled for both sessions. Check back for announcement of future dates.
The Archery Co-Chairmen of North Side Sportsmen Association are providing 2 Introduction to Archery classes for the general membership and guests on March 28th, 2015 from 1pm to 4pm, and April 4th, 2015 from 1pm to 4pm located at NSSA indoor archery range.
NSSA Archery has purchased 4 bows and associated equipment necessary for right and left hand shooters to participate in the classes. Our new compound bows are low draw weight, accurate, and fun to meet the needs of everyone interested male and female alike.
Tim Kretzler and Tom Martinelli will provide all the necessary instruction on both days. All you need to bring is the range fee of $3 for members and $5 for accompanied guests.
Our goal for the Introduction to Archery class is to increase membership participation in the archery facilities, provide the new archer basic instruction, and a great feel for the sport of archery.
Since the club has the Junior Olympic Archery Program (JOAD), these classes are geared to our adult members 16 years of age and older. We will not turn your children away, but we will ask to schedule them on another day due to the intense instruction and attention they require.
After completion of the introduction classes and you’re still not sure if archery is something you want to pursue, we will have the archery equipment available for use by members for a limited time under supervision of the archery Co-Chairmen or appointed member.
If you plan on attending the class, Please e-mail archery@northsidesportsmen.com with your name, date you wish to attend, and the names of the guests you plan to bring. If you have any questions please include them in your e-mail.
