The Board has approved the following operational changes effective immediately with respect to the recent transition to GREEN.
BUILDINGS: All buildings including Indoor Archery Range, Meeting Room and Skeet House are now OPEN. Distancing guidelines and gathering restrictions are to be observed. Masks are optional but recommended.
MEETINGS: We will resume club meetings on their normal schedules. Depending on attendance, the meeting may be relocated to the Indoor Archery Range to observe distancing requirements. The first scheduled Board Meeting is Tuesday June 16th, the next General Membership Meeting is Tuesday July 7th.
GOLF CART: The golf cart will be available for use with the following requirements: No more than 2 riders. The passenger must ride in the REAR seats to observe distancing. Sanitizing wipes will be provided and MUST be used to wipe down all contact surfaces after each use. The cart is undergoing maintenance but is expected to be in service this Monday 6/8.
Sporting Events: The respective Range chairmen are working on on rescheduling events. Further announcements will be made as those plans become available.
GUN BASH: The NSSA Executive Committee, along with the Board of Directors and the Special Events Committee determined that it is necessary to postpone the April 25th Gun Bash. We would like to reassure you all that we fully intend to hold this event once we receive the guidance from the proper government agencies and local health officials and also when we feel that the general population will be comfortable and can enjoy attending public events of this size and nature again. We will provide our plans once they are clear. We are not issuing refunds as the event will be held at a future date and even if ticket buyers are not able to attend they will still be eligible to win the 40 main ticket prizes.
If you or an immediate household member is experiencing symptoms or has been exposed to COVID-19 please stay home.
All policies enforced will follow guidance set forth by the PA State, CDC and Dept. of Health
Regards,
Wayne Noftz, President
Al Straub, Vice President
