NRA RSO Training June 26th, 2021
NSSA’s Chief RSO Bob Pelles will be providing NRA Range Safety Officer training June 26th 2021.

On the search form, check “NRA Basic Range Safety Officer Course” and enter the zip code (15086). Find NSSA in the results and proceed with registration.
Please have your NRA member number handy. Class will start at 8 am. All course materials will be provided. Lunch will be ordered with the cost split among the participants..
Members fee is $80 with non club members at $95.
Single Action Match West Range
It was a hot and steamy day at the West Range for the Single Action Match! Congrats to member Mark Zigo who won the match with a clean round in the time of 58.93 seconds. Be sure to check the calendar for upcoming West Range events!
Rifle Range Closure May 15, 8:00 – 10:00
The NSSA rifle range will be closed on Saturday, May 15th from 8:00 until 10:00 for range maintenance.

2021 Fish Fry Cancelled
The special events committee has reluctantly decided that it will not operate the annual Fish Fry this year. This decision is out of respect for struggling businesses and workers along with the ongoing health concerns.
NSSA – Dec 15th Board Meeting CANCELLED
Due to the current gathering restrictions ordered by the State, the December Board of Directors meeting has been cancelled.
Meetings will resume in January as usual provided that the health situation permits it.
COVID Targeted Mitigation
In compliance with the recent targeted mitigation order, the following restrictions will be in effect from Dec 12 2020 – Jan 4 2021 at NSSA.
- All youth programs are suspended
- All outdoor ranges remain open; no more than 50 people permitted on each outdoor range
- No more than 10 people permitted in the Indoor Archery range
- No more than 10 people permitted in the Meeting room
Social Distancing must be practiced. If you or any member of your immediate household is experiencing symptoms of Covid19 or has been exposed to anybody with Covid19, PLEASE STAY HOME.
JOAD CANCELLED
Effective immediately all JOAD activities are CANCELLED until further notice. This includes training on December 22nd 2020.
Sight-In Day on Sunday, November 15 is CANCELLED
The Hunting Rifle Sight-In Day for Sunday, November 15 is cancelled. The rifle range will be open for all regular activity, as always.
Sight-In Days will continue next weekend, November 21 & 22.
