October 5th Trap Hours
All: Please be aware that Trap will close at approximately 10:00 AM this Sunday, October 5th for a special event.
Early Morning Shooters can still get their rounds in – so if you are an early riser, feel free to come out!

West Range Night Shoot
Extending a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our first-ever NSSA Night Shoot! Your enthusiasm and participation made this maiden voyage a success, and we’re excited about the possibility of offering more in the future. A shout out to those who came up to observe and chat with a group.
A special shoutout to Send Nods for coming out and providing members with the opportunity to try different devices and offering rentals—your support truly enhanced the experience.
Big thanks also go to Nick and Hutch for traveling up to help RO the event and set up the courses.
The moving and shooting stages gave members a chance to put their gear to the test after dark, and the addition of the new V-Tac Barrier—generously donated by one of our members—was a major hit!
Look for more as we move through the year!
West Range Zombie Shoot
Thank you to all who came out to the Halloween themed West Range Zombie Shoot!!!! Even with our event “Maryland” rule for max rounds – the Zombies did not win the day!!!! Everyone had fun, shot well and most importantly were SAFE!! It was a great day (started pretty cold) and we were happy to welcome all. We had a “blast.”
We are growing at the range and we cannot thank you enough for all the positive feedback, the help, the enthusiasm and the participation. We are building a great community.
While this “officially” closes our season, don’t be surprised if a few surprise matches pop up before too long, in the winter.

INTRO TO SKEET CLASS
Have you ever wanted to learn the game of SKEET? Have you ever wanted to try it out-or even learn what it is??
Now you can!!!
Come out and join the Skeet Committee on Saturday, May 18th from 12:00 – 2:00 for an Introduction to Skeet Class!
This will be a basic level class designed for Safety, Learning and most of all Fun. You will learn gun safety, the basic rules of the game and how to shoot a round. Best of all, you’ll shoot two full rounds of SKEET!!!
Items you will need:
- Shotgun (NSSA will have some loaners upon request)
- Two (2) boxes of shells to match your shotgun gauge ( shot size 7.5, 8, 9 )
- Shells available for purchase at the club for $9.00/box
- Eye Protection
- Ear Protection
- **Please ensure your shotgun is in good working condition prior to bringing it to the range
- ***You must arrive with the shotgun unloaded

West Range Member Sign In
Members: The Sign In Box and Guest Payment Box has been moved to the left pavilion where the steel plates are.
It is required that ALL MEMBERS sign in with their badge at the key reader located on the right side of the Guest Payment Box. Note: Even if the reader flashes red you are still signed in.
ALL GUESTS must also sign in manually on the sheets located below the Guest Payment Box and place the guest fee in the Guest Payment Box.
As a reminder, two people MUST be together in order to utilize the West Range. (Two members, Member + guest.) This is for safety purposes and this is closely monitored. Additionally, this is a traditional pistol caliber only range.
DO NOT SHOOT SHOTGUNS AT THIS RANGE. THE SHOTGUN PATTERNING BOARD IS LOCATED AT THE SKEET FIELD TO THE LEFT OF THE HIGH HOUSE.

West Range Steel Targets
Members: The West Range project to permanently move the steel targets to the left pavilion has been completed!
As a reminder:
Members must sign in with their card by scanning it at the sign in box at the right pavilion.
Guests must sign in on the sign in sheets in the sign in box. Guest fee is $2.00
The West Range is a traditional pistol caliber only range.
Please be courteous and repaint the steel before you leave. Paint is provided at the pavilion.

West Range Construction Partial Closure
Members: The LEFT pavilion and shooting bays are closed for shooting while we are performing construction and improvements to that side. This only applies to the left pavilion and bays.
The RIGHT pavilion is still open with two shooting distances as well as the steel is still available for use. Improvements should be completed by spring (weather permitting.)

November Board Meeting Date Change
Members: The November NSSA Board of Directors Meeting will be held on November 22nd at 7:00PM.
Please make note of this change if you are planning to attend
The meeting will return to the normal schedule of the third Tuesday of the month for December.

All shooters had a great time at the annual West Range Zombie Shoot! It was a challenge but no zombies made it out!
