The NSSA rifle range will be closed on Saturday, July 20 from 8:00 to 10:00 for range work.  Thank you for your understanding.

The rifle range will start having OFF Shoots occasionally on Friday afternoons at 2 PM.
These will not be contests, just fun get-togethers. We will have a theme rifle for shooters
to bring and shoot (but bring whatever you have). Shooting will be 20 rounds standing,
continuous fire at 100 yards at torso targets. This is open to all members. Cost will be
the usual $1 for range usage, and $1 for each target you buy from CMP- or bring your
own. We will not close the range for this, except while actually shooting. As long as
shooters show up, we will continue this shoot. We start Friday June 28, 2019.

July 12 1903 Springfield rifles
July 26 K98 Mauser Rifles
August 9 M1 rifles or carbines
August 23 Any WWII bolt gun
September 6 Any scoped rifle
September 20 Any 22 rimfire rifle

West View Water Authority is replacing water lines on Mount Pleasant Road between Penticon Lane and the entrance to Warrendale Park. The project began on March 11 and should be completed on April 1, 2019. 
Below is a suggested detour to use if you are coming from RT 19. Take Warrendale Bayne Rd east about 3/4 mile to Franklin Rd on leftTake Franklin Rd about 1 mile to Mt Pleasant rd on leftTake Mt Pleasant rd about 1/2 mile Northside Sportsmen Club will be on the right.

The West Range committee is taking orders for t-shirts and sweat shirts until april. the price ranges are:

• t shirts:. m – 3 xl tall  from $15.00 to $24.00
• crew neck sweat shirts: m – 3 xl tall $23.00 to $34.00
• hooded sweat shirt:   m – 3 xl tall $30.00 to $45.00

West Range Chairman 

Due to extenuating circumstances, the board has voted to cancel the fish fry and spring gun bash this year. This action was approved by general membership at the February 5th meeting. 
I assure everyone that this was not a decision that was easy for anyone. However it is necessary to allow time for the reorganization and planning by the new special events committee. Our fundraising event schedule will resume starting with the fall gun bash.
