Battle of the Bulge shoot

This will be our last Rifle event from 2025, the Battle of the Bulge shoot, this coming Saturday February 28. The shoot will start at 10 AM, sign in at 9:30. Cost is $10.

We will shoot at white torso targets on black backgrounds at 100 yards. Bring 2 rifles, one an M1 Garand, and the other a German K98, or similar period bolt rifle. First will be 20 rounds from the bolt gun, then 24 rounds (3 enbloc clips) from the Garand. There will be 3 minutes for each rifle to fire the rounds.

We will not officially score the targets, this is a fun shoot. There will not be sighting shots, so know where your sights are. Any position is acceptable, but if you shoot sitting or prone you should bring a pad or tarp to lay on.

If the weather turns nasty, check email to see if I have had to cancel, before you drive to the range.
