Due to the transfer of data from the old card system to the new one, and the delays in equipment installation, the mailing of renewal stickers will be delayed. The original plan as previously described has been scrapped.

It now appears the renewals will also include the new cards once the data has been transferred.

PLEASE BE PATIENT. Your new card/sticker will be mailed as soon as it is possible to do so. The delay is out of our control.

3 Gun Shoot (7-13-2014)

On Sunday July 13th, Northside will be holding another 3 gun shoot. The last event was a great success, and everyone involved had a wonderful time. This time around, a few things will be changing that all shooters need to be aware of. Here are the changes:

All of the bowling pins will be removed and replaced with steel plates
A penalty of 5 seconds will be assessed for any misses
A penalty of 20 seconds will be assessed for not finishing a stage
If a stage isn’t shot correctly, a 40 second penalty will be assessed

Additionally, Northside has a few guns to borrow for the event, although ammo will need to be supplied. Northside does have shotgun ammo for sale, but pistol and rifle ammo will be have to purchased elsewhere.

Finally, Northside would like to thank everyone who came out last month, and we are hoping to have a bigger turnout this month.

Multi-state Concealed Carry Class (7-16-2014)

Carry America is holding a Multi-state Concealed Carry Class at Northside on July 16.

If you have a desire to be able to legally carry in other states, and you haven’t been able to attend any of the prior classes that have been offered, NSSA is hosting a training/certification class that may be of interest to you.

A 4-hour class to qualify for a Utah (or Arizona, if desired) pistol permit will be held at NSSA on July 16^th. This permit will enable you to legally carry concealed in some states that a Pennsylvania only permit holder cannot carry in.

Dates to remember for trap shooting at NSSA.

March 13th – 100 Bird Spring Warm Up Shoot
March 16th – Last Meat Shoot for this year.
March 20th – Our Spring Trap League begins, and runs through June 5th

Members and non-members are always welcome to shoot trap. Trap is always open Sundays and Thursday for practice also. ( with the exception on the March 16th meat shoot )
