The Pistol Range Committee is excited to announce a free fun shoot on June 28th!
We’ll have three start times: 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 12:00 PM.
Here’s what to expect:
- Please bring 3 magazines, each loaded with 5 rounds. One magazine will have a surprise “dud” round loaded by organizers.
- If you encounter a dud (no bang), safely remove the slide, eject the dud, reinsert the magazine, and continue shooting.
- There will be three shooting stations: 7, 15, and 25 yards. Please stay within the marked box at each station until all 5 shots are fired and the magazine is removed, including when dealing with a dud.
- Your total time will be recorded, including the time spent handling the dud. Scoring will be based on accuracy (5 seconds for a bullseye, with points deducted for shots outside the bullseye) plus the total time for each station.
- Cost: This event is free and just for fun!
- Approved calibers: .22 LR, .380 ACP, 9mm, 10mm, .38 Special, .40 Cal, and .45 ACP.
We hope to see you there!
