We know what you’re thinking: “New Year’s was weeks ago!” And you’re right. We originally planned to ring in 2026 with a bang on January 1st, but Mother Nature had other plans. Between the biting wind and temperatures cold enough to freeze the whiskers off a brass monkey, we decided that shivering uncontrollably isn’t exactly the best foundation for a steady aim. We figured you’d prefer to keep all your fingers and toes rather than leave them on the range as a frosty New Year’s sacrifice!It is still plenty cold here in Pittsburgh, so we aren’t bold enough to say the frost has settled just yet—but we are certainly hoping for a bit more cooperation from the heavens by the time the event rolls around!

Event Details

Dust off your gear and head over to Warrendale for a day of competitive shooting and camaraderie:

• Date: February 7th, 2026
• Club Opens: 10:00 AM.
• Shooting Begins: 11:00 AM
• Registration Deadline: You must be signed up by noon
• Location: Northside Sportsmen’s Assoc., Warrendale, PA 15086.

The Program

The day features a 100-target program designed to test your skill and consistency:

• First Half: 50-16 yard targets
• The Break: A perfect time to grab some of the available food and warm up
• Second Half: 50-22 yard targets

Costs & Prizes

Whether you’re here for the practice or the purse, there’s a spot for you:

• Targets: $28
• Practice Rounds: Available for $5
• Northside Purse: $20, divided 1st (40%), 2nd (30%), 3rd (20%), and 10th (10%)
• Lewis Class: $10 with $200 added (2 classes divided 60/40%)
• Mid 50’s: $5
• 50/50 Raffle: Grab a ticket and try your luc

Note: Ties on money will be divided, and NSSA reserves the right to modify or alter the program.
