General Members Meeting
5:30 PM until 7:30 PM
North Side Sportsmen’s Association will hold a swap meet at the clubhouse for all members at the October regular membership meeting. Any member registering may bring sporting items to trade or sell to other members.
Please, sporting items only! No household junk, no liquor, no furniture, no regular clothing, etc. We’re looking to trade or buy ammo, reloading equipment and supplies, firearm accessories, hunting/shooting clothing, optics, fishing and hunting equipment, archery equipment and accessories, etc. If you bring a firearm to sell, make sure it is unloaded and the action is locked open with a tie-wrap. And you will be responsible for complying with all state and federal laws.
All materials and equipment brought to the meet must be removed by the end of the evening. Do not leave anything on a table. The swap meet will be closed during the meeting.
To participate, please send an email to register for a half table to display your items. The registration is so we know how many tables to provide. There is no charge to participate. If you don’t want to sell, then stop by and look through the things others bring. Maybe you’ll find something you’ve been looking for! Then, stick around for the meeting at 7:30 PM. Remember to wear your membership card.
To register, email your name to Stan Hoover at rifle@northsidesportsmen.com. If you don’t register you won’t get a table.
Today’s M1 Garand / Vintage Military Rifle Match is postponed. Look forward to an update shortly.

Every Fall and Spring NSSA hosts a 12-week trap league that takes place on Thursday Nights. Shooters are divided into 5 teams which compete against each other for shells, prizes, and most importantly, bragging rights at the end of the 12-weeks. Our Fall League starts Thursday, September 2nd 2021, with a 100 bird pre-season shoot.
This shoot is a great opportunity for shooters to dust off their guns and get back out on the range. Following the 100 bird shoot, shooters will be divided into the 5 even teams based on their score and known ability, and these are the teams they will shoot 50 birds each week for throughout the rest of the season.
Sign-up times are 4pm-8pm each Thursday and it costs $12 per week to shoot the league. This cost not only covers the targets each week but also the prizes and the end of the league banquet dinner that we have at the club. Everyone is welcome, including non members, so we hope to see you out there! Please be advised that during this 12-week league shooters are not required to participate in the league and can opt to shoot practice instead, however league squads will have preference over trap availability.
