Ladies Pistol Class Sept 10, 2022
We will be holding a Ladies Pistol Orientation on September 10th, 2022 from 8:00am until 1:00pm. This orientation class will include both classroom instruction and shooting outdoors on our West Range. The emphasis of this class is safety and fun.
Please note that this is an introductory class designed for first time shooters. Due to the limited number of spots available, preference will be given to those who have not taken our Ladies Pistol Class in the past. If you have already taken the class and choose to sign up again, please be aware that your registration may be cancelled and your money refunded to allow for new applicants to register.
The cost to participate in the course is $80, which covers the cost of ammunition and other expenses. Payment is required at the time of registration to hold your spot in the course. Participants will receive a full refund if they cancel their registration before September 5th, 2022. No refund will be provided for cancellations on or after September 5th, 2022.
Participants can register and pay for the class online by clicking on this blue link: LADIES PISTOL CLASS REGISTRATION. Participants will receive both a confirmation email and a reminder email 3 days prior to the event. This class is open to the public. NSSA membership is NOT required.
Feel free to reply to this email with any questions. We hope to see you there!

Shotgun Patterning Rack moved to Skeet
The shotgun patterning rack has been relocated to the skeet field. Patterning is not permitted on any other ranges.
Do not move tarp over Pistol Range dirt mound
Do not remove the tarp over the dirt mound behind the targets on the pistol range at any time. Its placement is intentional to help the mound maintain its shape as rounds are being fired into it.
Fall 2022 Trap Season begins Sept 1

Every Fall and Spring NSSA hosts a 12-week trap league that takes place on Thursday Nights. Shooters are divided into 5 teams which compete against each other for shells, prizes, and most importantly, bragging rights at the end of the 12-weeks. Our Fall League starts Thursday, September 1st, with a 50 bird pre-season warm up shoot.
This shoot is a great opportunity for shooters to dust off their guns and get back out on the range. Following the warm-up shoot, shooters will be divided into the 5 even teams based on their score and known ability, and these are the teams they will shoot 50 birds each week for throughout the rest of the season.
Sign-up times are 3:30pm-8:30pm each Thursday and it costs $12 per week to shoot the league. This cost not only covers the targets each week but also the prizes and the end of the league banquet dinner that we have at the club. Everyone is welcome, including non members, so we hope to see you out there! Please be advised that during this 12-week league shooters are not required to participate in the league and can opt to shoot practice instead, however league squads will have preference over trap availability.
