The North Side Archery Committee is proud to announce (2) 6 week Youth Intro to Archery Courses this winter. Your child will have the opportunity to explore the joy of Archery while learning the fundamentals of the sport.
NSSA will provide all equipment, but you may bring your own equipment if you wish.
Cost is $10. (Fee waived for existing NSSA Youth Members)
Limited Spots are available, Choose from one of the 2 6-week sessions below:
1st 6-week program: Jan 5, 2025 thru Feb 9, 2025 Click to Register (Choose only one)

Time: Sundays 10am – 11:30am, (9:30AM Start First Week for equipment fitting)

The 9 week indoor 300 Archery league begins on Tuesday Jan 7th 2025 at 6:00 pm. Sign up at the club during first week. Handicap scoring will be utilized to make it competitive for all skill levels. See the Indoor Archery League Page for more details and full schedule.

In observance of the first week of Deer Season ALL OUTDOOR Ranges will be CLOSED from Nov 30th – Dec 7, 2024 and will reopen sunrise Dec 8th. The following closures will be in effect for this year:
Please understand that there is to be NO shooting of firearms during the range closures anywhere on NSSA property except in legal hunting. If you don’t have your firearm sighted in before range closures, you cannot sight it in here until the ranges reopen. Violators will be subject to disciplinary action by the Board.

This is a fun event and there’s a chance for anyone to win, beginners and sharpshooters alike. You can score a 0 and still win! Download the flyer for more details!

Cost: $35 or 6$ per shoot
The Rifle Range Committee will hold golf cart orientation sessions on Saturday October 26 from 9 AM until noon. This will require closing of the range to accommodate the training.
We will hold 6 one half hour sessions, each half hour, starting at 9. Each session will be limited to 3 members. Members wishing to get the training MUST use the attached sign up page:
Penn Power is performing maintenance on 8/25/2024 requiring power to be cut from Approximately 8:00AM – 2:00PM. As a result of the power cut, Trap and Skeet practice are cancelled, and Indoor Archery is CLOSED until power is restored. All other ranges will remain open.

As we celebrate the success of this year’s competition, we are already looking forward to future events. Sandy has been an integral part of our NSSA family for many years, serving as the Head Coach of our Youth Archery Program. Her unwavering dedication and passion for coaching have had a profound impact on the youth in our community.
We also want to acknowledge the incredible support and contributions from Sandy’s assistant coaches, whose dedication and commitment have played a significant role in the success of our archery program. Together, they have formed a formidable team that has inspired and empowered our young athletes to reach new heights of excellence.
Through her leadership, Sandy has instilled invaluable qualities in our young archers, including responsibility, respect, leadership, patience, trust, kindness, humility, pride, and gratitude. Under her guidance, our young athletes have not only excelled in competitive archery but have also grown into confident and well-rounded individuals.
This year, Sandy’s exceptional coaching skills and mentorship, along with the support of her assistant coaches, have led four archers to earn their Bronze Olympian medals, a remarkable achievement that speaks volumes about their collective commitment to excellence and the success of our program.
