Fall 2024 Trap League Starts Aug 29
Every Fall and Spring NSSA hosts a 12-week trap league that takes place on Thursday Nights. Shooters are divided into 5 teams which compete against each other for shells, prizes, and most importantly, bragging rights at the end of the 12-weeks.
Our Fall League starts Thursday, August 29th, with a 50 bird pre-season shoot. This shoot is a great opportunity for shooters to dust off their guns and get back out on the range. Following the 50 bird shoot, shooters will be divided into the 5 even teams based on their score and known ability, and these are the teams they will shoot 50 birds each week for throughout the rest of the season.
Sign-up times are 4pm-8pm each Thursday and it costs $14 per week to shoot the league. This cost not only covers the targets each week but also the prizes and the end of the league banquet dinner that we have at the club.
Everyone is welcome, including non members, so we hope to see you out there! Please be advised that shooters are not required to participate in the league and can opt to shoot practice instead, however league squads will have preference over trap availability.
Thanks,
Kevin Dallmus & Rick Jackson

NRA Refuse To Be a Victim Class June 7th
This seminar is available to all NSSA members, Spouses and immediate family members who are at least 18 years of age for a nominal fee of $25 which covers the cost of the course materials. This is a no firearms seminar that will be held in the NSSA clubhouse. Member attendance is NOT required – your spouse or immediate family members may attend on their own!
The NRA Refuse to Be a Victim is a nationally recognized crime prevention program. The single most important step toward ensuring your own safety is having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches various tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid becoming a victim.
Don’t be an easy target. We can all pinpoint times where we’ve made ourselves an easy target – whether it was keeping our heads buried in our phones, parking in a dimly lit area at night, or leaving our houses or cars unlocked. But there are many more, less obvious situations that make us vulnerable as well.
We never think a crime can happen to us, until it actually does. While sometimes unfortunate things do happen unexpectedly, it is important to be equipped with the knowledge and skills for personal safety and crime prevention. Having a personal safety strategy in place and knowing the techniques and tactics you can use to avoid becoming an easy victim can help you live smarter and be safer.
Cost: The total cost of this seminar is $25.00 per person or $40.00 for a couple (Student and Spouse)
