JOAD Roster filled
All spots for the upcoming JOAD season have been filled. We apologize to those who we could not be accommodated, there are strict Archer to Coach ratio limits to ensure the proper level of instruction may be provided.
Clout Archery Starts May 9th
NSSA Archers will hold the first Clout Archery event of the season Tuesday May 9th @ 6PM on the Trap Field. Events will follow on the second Tuesday of the month throughout the summer.
What is Clout you ask? Archers shoot arrows at a flag on a pole (“the Clout”) from a long distance. Points are scored depending on how close each arrow lands to the flag. This is great fun and a lighthearted event. All are welcome!
Fee: $2

Indoor Archery Closed 10/22
The Indoor Archery Range will be closed on Saturday, October 22 from 8am – 4pm
The room will be used for the Pennsylvania Hunter-Trapper Education class
All ranges CLOSED October 15
All ranges will be closed October 15 for a club fundraiser.
Indoor archery range closed October 13 – 15
The indoor archery range will be closed October 13 – 15. Tables and chairs will be setup for the club fundraiser.
Clout Archery part deux
The Archers had great fun at last month’s Clout Round. In fact, they have decided to schedule another event Tuesday August 30 @ 6:30 PM.
It was quite an experience trying to hit a target on the ground while aiming at the treetops. There are modified sights for this style of archery but we all used our equipment as is setup for standard target shooting. Spotters helped during sight in to help the shooter ascertain the trajectory of their arrows.
Participation fee is $5 – prizes will be awarded to the top score.
This is a lighthearted and fun event for all ages. No Pressure! We encourage you to join us.
