The indoor archery range will be closed October 13 – 15. Tables and chairs will be setup for the club fundraiser.

Trap practice CLOSED Oct 1 & 2
Trap will be CLOSED on Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd. Only shooters who participate in the North Suburban Trap League will be permitted to shoot on Sunday as the NSTL is holding their Post Season Shoot and will be utilizing all four traps. Shooters wishing to shoot practice are welcome to join us again on Thursday, October 6th and Sunday, October 9th.
Rifle range CLOSED Sept 25 morning
The rifle range is closed Sunday Sept 25 8am to 1pm for a CMP match.
2016 NSSA Handgun Challenge
Join us on the West Range for the 2016 Handgun Challenge on Sunday, September 11th. Registration will be from 9am-10am with shooting starting at 10am. The cost is $10 to participate. Clout Archery part deux
The Archers had great fun at last month’s Clout Round. In fact, they have decided to schedule another event Tuesday August 30 @ 6:30 PM.
It was quite an experience trying to hit a target on the ground while aiming at the treetops. There are modified sights for this style of archery but we all used our equipment as is setup for standard target shooting. Spotters helped during sight in to help the shooter ascertain the trajectory of their arrows.
Participation fee is $5 – prizes will be awarded to the top score.
This is a lighthearted and fun event for all ages. No Pressure! We encourage you to join us.

Indoor Archery Range CLOSED July 25 – 29
The Indoor Archery Range will be closed the week of July 25th.
Workers will be repairing and painting the interior walls.
Indoor Archery Target replacement complete
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with this effort! The targets are in place and ready to use.
Soon, The old targets will replace the hay bales on the outdoor range. Also, A few of of the target frames outside are in poor condition will be rebuilt.
Have a blast on the West Range
The west range grand opening was a great success. We were happy to see many new faces visit and participate. Many commented that they enjoyed the visit and plan to come back. Special thank you to Randy Hoffman and the range officers for organizing the event.
It’s alot of fun to shoot the steel targets. Hearing the impact and watching the plate react is fun and more interactive than paper targets. The spinning star target adds even more of a challenge. Check the video and pics below.
