The indoor Archery Range will be closed starting at 3PM on Dec 15th & 18th for maintenance.
2022 Deer season range closures
In observance of the first week of Deer Season ALL Ranges will be CLOSED from dawn to dusk Nov 26th – Dec 3 2022 and will reopen Dec 4th. The following closures will be in effect for this year:
- All outdoor ranges will be closed Friday evening November 25 at dusk and will remain closed the entire week.
- Trap and Skeet will be open their regular evening hours after 5 PM (4 PM if there are no hunters signed into the Hunting Sign In Book).
- There will be no closures of the indoor Archery Range.
Please understand that there is to be NO shooting of firearms during the range closures
anywhere on NSSA property except in legal hunting. If you don’t have your firearm
sighted in before range closure on Saturday November 26, you cannot sight it in here during the week of
closures. Violators will be subject to disciplinary action by the Board.

2022 sight in days cancelled
Due to very cold weather forecast this weekend, we have canceled sight in days this Saturday and Sunday. The rifle range will be open to all members and guests. There will be sight in targets in the metal sign in box for your use. Members must card in at the reader like always, and guests must sign in on the sheet. There is no charge for members, and $2 per rifle for guests, put in the collection box. The golf cart will not be available. All other range rules will be in effect.

NSSA Elections at Dec General Meeting
Per the bylaws of the association, NSSA will conduct its annual election of officers and board members at the December 6th general membership meeting.
2022 Sight in days
North Side Sportsmen’s Association 2022 Sight-in Days Saturday Nov 19 / Sunday Nov 20 8 AM until 4 PM At the rifle range 325 Mt Pleasant Road Warrendale, PA 15086
Sight in your old or new hunting rifle, muzzleloader, or slug gun for the coming hunting season. This event is open to the public, FREE for NSSA members, $2/firearm for non-members. You supply firearms and ammo, we supply the targets, at 100 yards. We will supply target spotting if you don’t have a scope, and advice and help if you need it. Sandbags will also be available, and a limited supply of ear and eye protection on loan.
The range will be open to members for general shooting at no charge (Guests $2). Please note that access to targets may be limited at times due to the need to service sight-in targets.
Sight-in days will only be cancelled due to inclement weather, particularly cold below 25F. If so, a notice will be sent out. The range will then remain open to members.
Trap Meat Shoots are Back!
The first meat shoot of the 2022/2023 season will be on Dec 4, 2022 at 10:00 am.
This is a fun event and there’s a chance for anyone to win, beginners and sharpshooters alike. You can score a 0 and still win!
One trap field will remain OPEN to practice shooters.
Bring your friends- meat shoots are open to the public. We hope to see all of there.

Indoor Archery League begins Dec 13, 2022

Indoor 3D Archery begins Jan 5th 2023

November Board Meeting Date Change
Members: The November NSSA Board of Directors Meeting will be held on November 22nd at 7:00PM.
Please make note of this change if you are planning to attend
The meeting will return to the normal schedule of the third Tuesday of the month for December.
