Due to extenuating circumstances, the board has voted to cancel the fish fry and spring gun bash this year. This action was approved by general membership at the February 5th meeting.
I assure everyone that this was not a decision that was easy for anyone. However it is necessary to allow time for the reorganization and planning by the new special events committee. Our fundraising event schedule will resume starting with the fall gun bash.

Youth Archers play battleship
This Sunday, coach Sandy organized a fun day for our Youth Archers. They played battleship similar to the actual game and some parents participated as well! Everyone had a great time!

NSSA was proudly represented at Crowfoot Rod and Gun club in Murrysville this weekend. We thank Dan Pringle and all of the staff and coaches for their hospitality!

Indoor 3D Archery starts Thurs January 3rd

NSSA Elections and Bylaws voting this General membership meeting
NSSA will conduct it’s annual election of officers and board members at the December 4th general membership meeting.
In addition, a final vote will be taken on proposed bylaw changes that were announced in September. The changes are included in an attachment to this email.

Skeet reopening Nov 21 2018
Skeet renovations have completed and will reopen on November 21st!
Skeet will be held the second, fourth and fifth Sundays and every Wednesday evening from 6 to 9.
5-stand will be the first and third Sunday’s from 11 to 2 as usual (this Sunday is the third Sunday).
Indoor Archery League to Begin Dec 11
The 9 week indoor 300 Archery league begins on Tuesday December 11th at 6:00 pm. Please sign up by email to indoor300@northsidesportsmen.com. Scoring will be determined by the number of participants. See the Indoor Archery League Page for more details and full schedule.
First Meat Shoot Nov 18 2018
The first meat shoot of the season will be on Nov 18 at 10:00 am. Additional shoots are scheduled for Dec 2, Dec 16th, Jan 13th and Jan 27th
This is a fun event and there’s a chance for anyone to win, beginners and sharpshooters alike. You can score a 0 and still win!
One trap field will remain OPEN to practice shooters.
